 "He says- He won't let me down ever again"

But I can no more trust him, 

My heart has fallen out of its place, 

When he says he won't ever let me down again. 

Why do we keep on lying to ourselves and the other person instead? When we know the promises we make, are never fulfilled by any of us...the promise of loving, caring and not hurting someone is just like the new year resolution we make, but we never really follow. Humans appear so passionate about it at the very first glance, but they never remain consistent with their promises or their processes.

He says he loves me,I give him goosebumps, maybe butterflies even. But my dear lover, listen here, you know you have put me down so much in these past months, that my heart no more beats for you, but my head really aches for you, that's for sure. 

There used to be days when talking to you was my dilemma, but now I am pretty sure that I would remain more happy staying away from you. Why we All seek love in someone else, who doesn't treat us well? 

Why he needs to buy you chocolates and feed you? And what does it means to you , when he can't keep you well? Why does he need to kiss you? When he can't bandage your bruised skin? Why does he need to talk to you? When he talk to you about his opinions that can insult and injure your whole Mighty existence? 

Just why?
