NATIONALISM OF NO CAUSE AND ALL CRIME

A nationalist of this day & age
is a fluked man —
he drinks tea from the same cup
& breaks it to prove his loyalty

Those who sip gently,
& ask to clean the cup afterwards,
are called anti-national —
as if concern was treason.

While politicians
drink from it,
spit in it,
& then call the stain their sacrifice.
