SECOND THOUGHTS

Work of fiction 

I had visions of your indecision 

but I was not that precise 

that you loved me so much 

that you won`t even try

I am no better than you 

I can also not decide,

except what to eat, or when to pick a stupid fight.

I had the predisposition that we all second guess,

but am I your second best?

the second best thing you bought if the first didn`t fit,

cause` if I am , I don`t mind.

  

I even , always have 2 men in my head

one who is my boyfriend 

& one who tells me that my boyfriend is not worth trying 

I even ,always have 2 girls to be my best friend,

one who is obsessed me , like she envies me,

& one who loves me , genuinely 

guess which one made the long drive ?

I always have 2 careers in my head, 

one to be a poet &

one to be a diplomat .

I always have 2 thoughts , 

when I began to speak,

so I couldn`t speak any, 

till I finally started crying .

am I the memorial of all the second stitches in your head?

cause if I am , tell me

 am I your chosen alternative, 

that you are avoiding , for so long?

I think this is the fate of the frost or forebearing,

the time would tell.

tell me baby,

as the destiny says, 

the end lies, 

always what you keep avoiding till you see, the end sight ?

do you get visions that I can be your both thoughts?

I can be a girl with big eyes & a singer at late night ?

a girl to listen to you when you cry & the girl to write to you sad poems, 

if you ever wanna try?

I can be your all,

I am at one call,

call me once, no second thoughts,

lemme be the vision that you cannot ignore .

if visions blurs, question occurs &

I still linger in your mind like the taste of the red wine

leave all the cocktails on the floor,

& run back to me , my golden boy.

there are only second thoughts,

no second births,

cause even if the chances are slim

there is only one life.

let the fools & fatalists ,

talk about 7 lives , & 7 loves, 

we can past all the tragic love stories this time ,

cause if you even second wish,

I would run back to you in abyss .

I can be your all,

I am at one call,

call me once, no second thoughts,

lemme be the vision that you cannot ignore.

if I am sitting at the tomb of contemplation , 

of your second best tries.
