here I see , here I see

what has happened to the mother of democracy

here it bleeds , here it bleeds

in red , an undeclared explicit emergency

delirium of dictatorship is the spectacle 

we are blessed with such a fine PM of debacle 

he walks tall and his talks make no sense , living on foreign sabbatical

how police is even on it knees

everyone is doing its duty , except the ruling party 

the election are fair , only one sits on chair

two people do it all and cracked the code , of democratic autocracy

half detained , full distressed , 

those who can`t go to protest ,are also feeling oppressed .

the leader of opposition has the majority

but you can`t vote, this is the greatest democracy

the cockroaches are parasites now , a victory 

because asking for resignation when a person in power is compromised ,

is the how the mother of democracy has becomes used to of now and forgotten to frown.

but can we blame , can we point fingers, when we burnt it ourselves ,enjoying the flames of hell ?

when we got blinded by hero worshipping , a politician , who never does press conferences 

not checking his credential , just looking at this caste 

reading our books backwards , not dissenting , democracy is on the blast 

not using our right , zipping our tongues and our minds 

cause we are hindu , but aren`t the hindus too in plight?

rigging is fine , till we all close our eyes, and mind and donate our first finger , so we can`t vote

freedom is my birthright , unless I start critising a party or any religion 

blasphemy is fine , because honor lies in skipping , critical thinking for pride .

so here are we , here are we 

at the procession of coming back to life , after losing our vision.

having an opinion counts in being again the nation

count me in , count me in , I guess , I am also anti establishment 

comedians are doing journalism , students are becoming politicians 

democracy is in thunders, don`t you all sit & wonder?

but I guess we all need to decide , 

or we would soon be performing the funeral rites of dissent in a 75 year old nation.

if democracy has given to you so much , what can you give back to its dying collision?

if this nation has given to you so much , what can you give back for its protection ?

if caste pride has given you anything , I guess that must be discrimination

if the constitution has given to you so much , what can you give back to bring it to its origin?

if hero worship has given you anything , I think that must be a limping nation .

but if you use your brain , wedge politics is just division 

the mother of democracy is massacred on the streets of the capital city

and you all love to envision , that dystopia is only limited to cinematic sophistication 

trees fall , jungles gone , Manipur burns , oligarchs rule

why aren`t people losing their mind ?

 are your brains , stuck between your knees and your thighs ?

let the dice role or role the dice more, the clock is ticking .

the men in power are hysterical ,thinking emergency would save them 

threats is in the parliament , threat is In the institution 

even my tea is getting cold , as I sit in two folds , to see the theatrics of the fall

my nation is hurting , my nation bleeds ,

 I am feeling blue ,but I still hope to see,

the death of the almighty , as dystopia rolls on delhi streets,

nobody holds the chair of power forever, oct , 2026 is going in histories.

sweat on their body , the overlord is getting jittery, 

as we see the spectacle of democracy, 

as we clap enjoying the circus of falling monkeys 

an epiphany , an epiphany , I love how a nation always manages to do uncanny .

I guess the mother of democracy must be really angry , 

in coma , on ventilator , but still making the fools feel the trouble of their stupidity

god forbid , god must be a voter, a lover of democracy.
